Today, I had a conversation with Photoshop. I had neglected my poor baby for things like school and Open Canvas, and needed to see if it still liked me. I held it close, whispered something romantic in it's ear, and we made sweet, sweet fanart together. It was wonderful. We're getting married or something. My apologies to my many other spouses, but you now have to share the bed with an inanimate object. At least it's more competent with holding conversations than myself, and can probably pleasure you better.
I don't know what it is about me doing very vertical things lately. It just happens without any input from me. This was going to have a real background and a full body, but I got bored and cropped it all out because it looked like something I had miscarried. Instead, I opened up Painter, made a funky background (that is the full extent of my abilities with it at the moment), and threw a few gradients at it. All roads in my art lead to this. My standard title approach also applied here (pick a random element of the picture, and find the Latin word for it: This time was "transparent").
Also, dammit Gaara, I'm trying to draw things that are not you. Stop coming out of my pencil/stylus. I love you, but need to do things that possess eyebrows and no copyright.
I would say print this out as a bookmark, but it's low resolution and would look nasty, especially with the muted palette.
*squeels like a fangirl from hell*
Gawd this is sexy I think Gaara is neglecting now ever since akatsuki became famous over night

Aww, thank you! I kinda just write whatever comes into my head, and the general public is subject to my lack of self-censure. It's nice to know that I amuse people other than myself, and that I am not alone.
I see what you mean about the eyes, especially the left one. I'll probably go back and fix this later, when time allows. In the meantime, thank you thank you thank you for some constructive criticism. It's been hundreds of comments and over a year since I've seen something besides "You make [insert character] hawt/kawaii", and it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
I lol'd at the first paragraph of your Comment. 8D
I really like this though.
Especially Gaara's smexy hair.
I don't have any criticism since someone else already said it. :]
Very nice coloring though.
Aah, I found you here as well! I faved this pic at Y!gallery in the morning, and now I did it again! I love this pic...

Great work, yet again. My only critique is that his eyes seem a -lil- bit teeny, but it could just be the make up too!
